Evidence-based

I work with Schema Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, structured approaches with a substantial research base, not open-ended conversation.

No waiting list

Most first sessions are booked within a week. You send a message, we find a time, we start.

A clear price

One rate, published openly. No packages, no assessment fee, no minimum commitment.

Who I work with

If you're carrying something you haven't been able to put down

Anxiety that follows you into ordinary days. Grief that hasn't found its shape. Patterns in your relationships or family that keep returning even after you've recognised them. Living in a country where the therapy you can access isn't in the language you think in.

I work with adults on all of this. You don't need a diagnosis or a referral to begin, only a sense that something needs attention.

per 50-minute session

One rate for every session, in whichever currency suits you. No packages, no assessment fee, no minimum commitment.

This is online overseas therapy: lower overhead, not a lower standard of care. No clinic rent is built into your fee.

About

The person you'd be talking to

I work with behavioural and cognitive therapies, specifically Schema Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. These are structured approaches with a substantial research base: we work towards something, rather than talking in circles.

I see adults in English, over video, one to one, at a time we agree between us.

More about how I work

How it works

Three steps, and none of them are complicated

You send a message

Tell me briefly what's going on. You don't need the right words for it yet.

We agree on a time

I'll come back with the times I have open. Most first sessions happen within a week.

The first session

Fifty minutes, over video. We go through what brought you here and start mapping out what the work might look like. There's no commitment beyond that session: we decide together whether to continue.

Questions

The things people ask first

Do I need a diagnosis or a referral to start?

No. You don't need either, and you don't need to have worked out what the problem is. A sense that something needs attention is enough.

When are sessions available?

Weekday evenings, European time. In the UK that usually falls between 5pm and 9pm, and in Denmark between 6pm and 10pm, shifting by an hour when the clocks change.

What if you're not the right therapist for me?

Then I'll tell you, and where I can, I'll point you towards someone better suited. That's a normal outcome of a first session, not a failed one.

Does online therapy work as well as meeting in person?

Yes. Therapy asks for the presence of the person in pain and of the person attending to it. That presence is possible over a screen, even with kilometres in between.

The first step is a conversation

No form to fill in, no account to create. A message is enough, and you don't need to explain everything in it.
